The Kidztivity Child Behaviour Management Workshop will provide you with a greater understanding of how to respond to the different behaviours of Children and Young People (CYP). Through a variety of modules, you will learn how to identify, manage and respond to behaviour challenges when working with Children and Young People.

Throughout the course you will be asked to complete a variety of activities to help familiarise yourself with possible scenarios and develop the tools to help de-escalate certain situations.

You will leave this workshop with a locker full of tips, tricks and proactive behaviour strategies to help manage child behaviour when delivering children’s activities to various age groups.

The Child Behaviour Management Workshop is suitable for all professionals working with children and young people in childcare, youth work, leisure, health, sport and physical activity settings; Holiday Camps, Breakfast Clubs, In-School and After-School Activities, Birthday Parties, Youth Work, Sports Coaching, Community Groups, Children’s Franchises and School Activity Programmes.

ASSESSMENT

In-Person assessments will involve a short Q&A session.
Throughout the online workshop there will be a series of quizzes to complete, followed by a short assessment. This is to display participants’ knowledge and understanding of the online course.
Digital feedback will be provided to ensure participants are comfortable and confident when working with children and young people.
